Sadly Joe I am stuck in my office in Geneva - meetings that look like continuing until 19:00, so not really able to help.

Also, as my car is parked at liverpool airport so I am stuck in the city, until my taxi takes me back to the airport this evening...

Sorry not to be able to help

Simon

Many thanks for all the contact details guys - the car has now been transported to Emil Frey in Lausanne who claim that they have some capacity to diagnose on Tuesday, so I'll wait and see! I would have thought that they would have been jumping at the chance to charge me lots of money to fix the problem though...

Many thanks for all the help - I now have the car back and it was ..... The low pressure fuel pump - and I suspect that without a prior diagnosis that It would not have been fixed out here.

Hey hey! Glad to be of service.

Not to put another spanner in the works, but don't be surprised if you need a new Hugh pressure pum too in the near future! Crying or Very sad

Sorry, but it's better to be prepared! Thumbs Up

Oh, and silver lining, after you replace both pumps it'll drive much better than before! Very Happy Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

maybe buy it and keep it in the car so when it fails you can make them swap it at the road side Wink FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
