I had a similar problem with mine after messing with the IIDTool, left the system in "tight" rather than "normal" tolerance mode and the compressor pump repeatedly overheated. Geoff |

Unfortunately yours is about 1 year after mine with the front bags going at the same age more or less (mine is a May 05 build, the 4.2 SC, not the new one ). I went for the new front struts/bags and it was great since.

Front air strut perished and leaking. Replace ASAP before compressor gets tired and then replace the one that is still working after pay day: another weekend rolling around on the driveway to relish.

Leaking strut now replaced. No obvious hole in the rubber. Where the leakage was occuring just had the tell tale signs of perished rubber at the bottom where it folds: small cracks just like the wall of an old tyre. The other side has similar symptoms and even though not leaking perceptably, will change it soon. 2014 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography & 2015 3.0SDV6 HSE Lux Discovery 4

Not wishing to hijack RRBlue's thread but as his issue is sorted, it may be better to keep the information in one thread. Do you have any views on the following to replace my hissing OSF airbag please.........

I asked Dan at Duckworths whether the rears struts were as troublesome. His reply was that he does not get as many requests for rear struts as front ones.
