Wow ! thanks but i think it was caused by low voltage on the battery,(Bloody lad was watchin a dvd for about 40 mins), had a 20min run cleared the fault code, checked the bits and bobs ( linkage ect, all a,ok) and all seems well, |

Rear sensor is probably faulty ... Not an expensive part relatively, and easy to change out. You may find it been superseded by new style sensors, in which case you need to change both sides at the same time. V8 or else ... |

Now sorted, had a broken wire about 10mm from the plug on the sensor, cleaned it up and soldered it |
