I was looking at chnaging to a 2009 (59) My2010 TDV8se which is quite a jump up from my TD6 Vogue 2005, howvever whilst i understand it is a more exspensive car some of the inurance quotes i have had back are really exspensive. Looking at what some of you pay they seem really steep.

I am 51 this year, have seven years NC, 3 points for dfriving my van at 58 , in a 60, car is parked on private drive behind electric gates and i only do less than 10k a year.

Cheapest seem about £900 with high £800 excess up to £2k

Thats steep, what we do here is get the female to take the insurance out and the husband goes on as named driver..I'm half ur age 05 reg td6, 500 euro roughly, my husband a named driver..That's pretty good price IMO

Ah I did nott realise that in a goods van the limit is only 50!!!! I was quite shocked !!
