Has anyone repainted their locking wheel nuts, mine have clearly been abused and some paint has been daubed on in the past but rust is very evident and getting worse. I thought about just replacing them with standard (non locking) nuts but I then thought, knowing my luck, maybe I better just repaint or replace the locking ones.

Maybe measure them up and see if you can get some kind of covers for them or take them off and use some fine sand paper and fairy liquid on them? FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Buy new ones if that bad, and maybe proof them from new so they're better protected. |

Probably best to leave Mrs S out of this, however I might see if I can get her on nut polishing duties sometime soon Geoff |

I'm probably with Alistair on this but replacement nuts don't grow on trees and having spent the afternoon in the sunshine drinking wine, filing and spraying my nuts they'll do for the time being Geoff |
