I was thinking of doing that as well but in a walnut to match my existing trim. Primarily the two strips either side of the gearbox tunnel and maybe the window switch pack. Its hard to find though..... Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

@ googsy-There's a place in greenogue business park in rathcoole that does wrapping..u can go up to see their work, v good IMO.. |

True about scratches but im sure the flexibilty would be fine especially if applied using a heat gun but at 5.99 a roll its bound to be worth a try. Failing that theres always Ronseals paint and grain Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

Today I did a bit of carbon fibre wrapping, it's not a easy as they make out especially on fiddly stuff like round the dials and the vinyl doesn't stick that well to the plastic. I have done the side strips either side of the centre console and the two lower dash panels - I will refit tomorrow and maybe post some photo's - but only if it looks nice Geoff |
