where can I get a replacement transmission cooler from at a fair price ? or can they be flushed \? |

If it's not leaking they can be cleaned |

It is not worth reusing them after a rebuild - especially the TD6 (GM) trans cooler as the transmission usually lets go with a huge shower of internal shards. The particulates left in the cooler are so fine you can not flush them out completely. Risking a GBP2000 rebuild over an additional GBP300... Most manufacturers recommend similar: Porsche recommends the same thing for the engine oil cooler when a motor has popped.

Unfortunately I believe it's only available as an OEM part.
