I think it's just reporting that there has been a problem communicating at some point - usually flat key battery. |

I have the same error. Both my keys are new and the batteries are charged. I've cleared the code and it keeps coming back. |

Nope this was before I did anything, I have 2 working keys now so I'll clear the fault and see if it comes back..Would it be worth creating some sort of list where everyone who has the iid tool can put the error codes in and maybe Steve or others can put answers in.. |

I get this and checked it out with SteveFR, who says it's nothing to worry about. I reckon it's not actually an issue but it's a fault that is triggered before the key communicates properly with the car - obviously the key eventually does communicate with the car or it wouldn't start.

I asked Patrick again. If it's an intermittent fault don't worry. One of the GAP test-mule RRs ( ) has this as well.

Gladly. Stan, could you please talk to my wife? As I mentioned in the other thread, we are putting together a wiki. This means all should contribute. In the meantime if Lolo wants to start a thread... RRC 2Dr, RRC 4Dr, P38, and 2 L322s (wife thinks I'm nuts - prob right, too) |
