Nick

Keen to attend but waiting for some family members to confirm their plans for that weekend. If they don't coincide then I'll be on. Should know in a week or so.

Cheers and thanks for organising. Bow down

Hi Guys,

I'm really keen to do this trip, but - my FFRR has just been having the air susp inactive probs - I've just had the front valve solenoid thingy replaced but my mechanic told me the pump is going to be next as when the valve goes it tends to knacker the pump! A week after the valve was replaced the message came up again, locking the suspension in standard height so i went to my mechanic who put it on the system and he said indeed the pump was dodgy although he reset the fault and I'm now two weeks later and no repeat message......so my questions are

Does anyone going have the reset tool if my warning message comes up so we can clear it?

and if not can I safely do this day if my FFRR is locked in standard height?

Cheers

Pete,

I would think that you can manage the day with standard height. We have a FL2 with us which will be about the same clearance. If there is anything that looks too much then we can stop and use the collective wisdom to solve it. It is not meant to be a damaging day, social outing. We could always put the Cam-Tech Disco into the ruts and let you drive over it Very Happy

Had to remove my registration for this event as I have been informed by SWMBO that I need to head north that weekend to the Lakes with the family.

Its a real shame as I was hoping to be able to join in and see what the plains are like...

That's a shame. I'm sure there will be more opportunities to join the fun. Can't SWMBO go by train?

Laughing Nice one Craig!

Thanks Nick - all sounds good so count me in! My susp has been all good at the moment, working fine so fingers crossed!! I've never done an off road day before except a half day Land Rover experience so really looking forward to it - after all, what the heck did we buy them for!!
