A lot of 'interest specific' forums end up with members interacting more than I do with some of my friends ergo the banter can get a little near the knuckle sometimes- look at the post counts on here FFS There are members who have made more comments on here than I have to people I've known my whole life.

I know on the detailingworld forum there is a 'Gentlemen's club' section where you have to ask to be given admission. Yes there have been topless pics and non-PC jokes yes there are women there and also yes the mods do remove stuff and warn people for bad behaviour there is a sticky with the rules in it and members can let off steam.

Do I think it's a bad thing? no.

Is detailingworld a wider demographic? undoubtedly

One of my pet peeves is supposed 'adults' in both forum extremes i.e. thin skinned idiots, and also trolls.

If I have a problem with someone my general ROT is "Would I say this to their face" If yes and they don't like it so be it, have a biscuit, job done.
