Anyone had this done? Im thinking about it but haven't seen any cars up close yet thats had it done.

Went and looked at a sport that had just been done by a company that tinted all of my last 5 cars ! It looked a top job ! He had just finished wrapping a merc convertible as well, he has just done my fittings in my vogue in black piano finish ! Current tdv8 range vogue 07

Haven't had a lot done. Got my frame on the grille wrapped in black as well as the side vents. Looks perfect. I saw some of the work they did, there was a range rover sport, completely wrapped in black matte, looked brilliant, couldn't believe it was red underneath till they showed me under bonnet..

Yeah how much to do the Grille , didn't think they would do just that and the vents ...

I hate using my laptop, I'm an iPhone iPad person.. As soon as u guys get that feature I'll be posting up lots of photos I promise..

sounds very appealing. Im liking the carbon fibre stuff they do. Might have to go visit a few places to see their work

What sort of life span are they claiming for the wrap? I've heard 5 years which seems a little short for the money it costs..?

I had my TT Roadster wrapped a week or so ago, it was wrapped in Matt Carbon Fibre... Here are some before and after pics...

Looked more like dark blue when you were sat in it and looking across the bonnet as you went up the road......

Irrespective of the wrap, that V8 sounded gorgeous through that exhaust.......

The front grille was still left java black, and the wrap only went as far as the roof rail strips, so most of the roof wasn't wrapped.

I did see a matt red one once. That looked good ;

(To me anyway !!)

Not that keen on doing the car exterior.
But I am interested if anyone has wrapped the interior trim of their L322.
The Foundry finish on mine is starting to look a bit sad so maybe this is an easy, durable and cheapish option.
But not carbonfibre look.

The lads I use wouldn't do the piano gloss on the side walnut parts, they said it wouldnt come up right, they would only do the carbon, or other textured wraps..perhaps other places would do it tho
