The fitter suggested same as the picture but I thought with it being closer it would be noisier, hence why i asked him to put it into the little cubby hole. Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

Mine has gone into the garage also. My other question How many cans of tyre weld things do you carry ! I use to carry in the mini coopers and that was only a 18" low profile jobbies. So I was wondering if we need to carry two cans!? |

Which is the right way up for the compressor? Mine has been attached to the front wall of the spare wheel space, and it is mounted on rubber feet, but is a lot more noisy than it was before I had the conversion. Does it need any free air space around it to draw in air to compress, or can I smother it in soundproofing? |

I ran a 4.4 V8 BRC for the last 5 years. Excellent conversion and whilst there was no dramatic reduction in power on LPG, you did notice that when on petrol it did accelerate faster. One disadvantage was when the tank was down to the last roughly quarter of a tank, there was insufficient pressure to feed the demands of a huge engine on full draw! The result was hesitation in acceleration which was an issue if you were halfway past a car going up hill! Quick flick to petrol and all was well again. TDV8 3.6 2010 Santorini Black / Jet Interior

I just had mine returned to me 2 days ago after having a Prins system fitted in. Took it on a long run yesterday and got 225 miles (85l fill) out of it doing on average 80-90mph. Has anyone got anymore miles out of there's?

Yep, 250+ if I'm extremely gentle. I normally drive at 65 on motorways, which equates to probably 80% of my driving and get around 240. Not at that speed though, that's pretty good. 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster 2007 3.6 TDV8 Vogue - gone! 2003 V8 HSE (LPG) - gone! 2018 F-Pace 25t Portfolio 1974 LR Series III Lightweight FFR 2014 BMW 640i Gran Coupe |
