Yes it is a country estate Mick lives in, he had to supply me with a map to get from the gatehouse to his front door and even with the map I got lost

Tried it today , and not impressed with results the foam has left it kinda streaky and greasy looking and i never put too much magi foam in either ….

And yes , i did wash it down with clear running water as well

Have you any wax or sealant on the paint?

Does seem to work better when the car is 'slippy' i.e. the foam softens the dirt and then slides off due to the hydrophobic nature of the sealant/wax.

Reason I swapped from Magifoam to Bilt Hamber was that although the cling was good I thought the nature of BH foam actually sliding off took more dirt with it.

That said I've had FinishKare FK1000p wax/sealant on mine and now have Gtechniq C1 on part of the car (test panels) which will be going all over once the paint is corrected. (if dry weather, time and fitness ever coincide!)

Was hoping to wash it this weekend after fitting my camera but looks like that's stuffed now due to mobility issues.

From my experience the two ways to get the best from the foam are as a pre-wash 'softener' like Salb says with something added like G101 (though this will strip wax much quicker) followed by the usual wash with 2 buckets and a wool wash mitt or if you have sealant on as a fast weekly wash before the dirt builds up too much.

Tell you something , the snow foam might not have worked very well on my car , but it brought the conservatory and coping stones around the wall at the back up like new …

The back of the house looked as if winter snow had came the amount of snow foam i had used ...  ====================================

Mick if the snow foam has a chance to dry on the car it will leave streaks, I know your supposed to let it dwell but too long or in direct sunlight and it can streak. Its worth trying different levels of foam from the valve on the lance too. 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

I received my Autobrite HD lance this weekend and used it to great effect. In fact, I had so much fun, I did both my cars.

The effect on the car with a good layer of polish (and covered in dirt) was much better than the on the car that just gets washed every couple of weeks. This first car required only a quick swish with a mitt and it was spotless, despite being far dirtier than the other.

I got a sample of Magifoam, but haven't used it yet - I had some Ultimate foam that I was using - worked a treat on my driveway drain! Researching my first Range Rover purchase
