Can't select Navigation from the menu? 2002 Vogue

Hi Folks.

Today after putting in a destination my navigation froze. After returning to the menu now both On Road Navigation and Off Road Navigation are in orange text and can't be selected?

Any ideas?

Water ingress in boot?

or

dive into the secret menu (see wiki) and see what is going on in there

or

try battery disconnect procedure.....Wink .

Boot is as dry as a bone. Will try the battery. Thanks Joe.
