I'm no expert, but my first thought is fuel pump, or injectors. Does it happen only under hard acceleration?

Yes it's only under hard acceleration. Fuel level is irrelevant.

Presume nothing, especially where main dealers are concerned. |

Where us best place to get fuel filter? Is it a standard inline or a specific RR item? |

Thanx RRUK. Just read your post. It's exactly same as nine. 3,000 rpm and the stuttering starts.

The fuel pump in question is external to the fuel tank on the chassis, therefore easier to swap out. There's an in line fuel filter I think but also a fuel sediment filter trap under the bonnet which is a £10 part you can swap yourself as I did when I gave the TD6 a service.
