2013 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Luxor

My fault for using the term codec and MP3 but introducing ACM, MOST, DAC, ALAC and FLAC is probably unhelpful from Lolo's point of view. The fact remains that although the music is obviously stored digitally (on iPod/Phone and CD)it is soon converted to analogue for ongoing amplification and distribution to the speakers, yes there will be a quality gain from storing in less lossy formats but that is the same through the Aux port.

Methinks this is my last post on the topic as having only initially spent 3 quid on the Y cable and no time on the install, I'm putting more effort into this post trail

Lolo, if you have the Aux port get the cable and see what you think - it's only a few quid.

The 21 pin connector I talked about is the standard one on the bottom of iPods and iPhones

Also Amazon, search for Macally.
Although it fits fine as it comes it's neater if you shim the cupholder, I used some black plastic drainpipe. Geoff
