| No, it's fits into the existing roof mounts, you just need to remove the little plastic covers and the rack sits on these little angled brackets then it just bolts into the roof. |

Right, furthest 2 cross bars are 41 1/2 " apart, If you're looking at a roof tent, they do fit, as I had one on here before.
