Depends how much grease you lost as to whether it will require a top up.

It's deffo a jubliee as per your first pick. It is not however on that multi layered rubber pic - There is nothing on that. It is inboard more (towards the center of the car) on another rubber gator..??!!??

No. Either end of the gator need to be sealed by the bands/clip. Inside the gator is a CV joint and the gator holds the grease to keep it lubed. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

Each driveshaft (one on each wheel so 4 in total) should have 2 rubber boots and 2 steel band clips per boot |

The small end can be done with a jubilee clip as it won't foul anything but the big end needs a proper steel band, and no......a cable tie doesn't work.

If it's a jubilee clip it's not origonal but where it's located I can't see why a jubilee clip couldn't be used.
