It's a 2004 (54) plate but with the touchscreen sat nav which I think makes it a 2005 model??? There may be other differences between the 2004/2005 but I have no idea what they are! Smile

In fact, just typed the registration into Glass' and it came back as a 2005 MY.

Yeah, I thought it had to be a '05 or later MY if its got the 'MOST' touch screen & fibre optics, guess your one must either of had a plate change or be a very late '4?

She looks a cracking truck anyways.

Hope you enjoy it __________________

Yeah, it's got a build date of 6 October 2004.

I hope she's a cracking truck, had a few niggles/issues that i've asked the dealer to sort out before I part with my cash. It's a one owner with full LRSH and when I spoke to the previous owner he told me every service/repair was done at a franchised dealer. I spoke to the MOT garage where he last had it MOT'd and the guy there said he remembered the owner and said that he would spare no expense on fixing it! Hope that means that it's fairly well behaved! Fingers crossed!!!

Hello and welcome!

It might misbehave if you keep calling it a truck! Whistle

That's only 1 step short of calling it a jeep! Big Cry Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

I blame Dave for calling it a truck first, i'm easily led! Laughing

I can offer you some reassurance though, I would NEVER call it a jeep!! Very Happy

Well, I have it and I am in love!! At times the dealer has made me want to Banging Head But, it's been worth it! I just hope it keeps me feeling this way!

I need to get some mats but can't decide between rubber or premium! Confused

I also need to find a great valeter at a great price as the dealers attempt at valeting was pretty bad! Left cream all over the place, completely failed to clean the passenger seat belt heightener (or whatever its called) and there's a mark on the leather which I think would probably clean out!!

Bit of confusion now regarding the remote heater. I pressed the on button and the remote flashes a few times in quick succession, however, the book and FFRR wiki says it will flash every 2 seconds. The remote doesn't flash. Anyone offer some help? Should it flash every 2 seconds for the 30 mins?

FWIW if mine is flashing it generally means it ain't working. I press the on button on the remote until the green led glows constantly and then release it, at which point the green led goes out
However given the rich tapestry of variation in FF behaviour that may not mean anything, but it's just what happens to me.
Turning off is the same if I do it remotely only its obviously the off button and the red led HTH Geoff

Cheers mate. Just put a call in to the supplying dealers service department and, like you, he reckons it's not working either! Day 1 of ownership and already a fault! Hope this isn't a sign of things to come!!

[despite reading numerous posts here and there about its tendency to swallow money! ]

What are you talking about Sir????

Since owning mine (brought in 2009) (4.4 V8 2002) it's only had a few things done, I mean

exhaust sensor
Torque Converter
Alternator (£500)
All rear bushes
Air suspension repaired
Gearbox replaced (£2500)Big Cry
Tow electrics replaced
CD player fixed as faulty (best one yet, little whack with a screw driver) Razz
Door handle cable replaced

And then there were the minor things, as for the cost well it's part of the culture

Welcome to Range Rover ownership Rolling with laughter

Still the best ride I have ever owned, each time I get in I feel special, and my mum said I was a special child Confused
