Easy and quick are the Ring stick up cameras - pair with a solar panel from Ring and you never have to change the battery. |

You rotter! That centre brake light ain't cheap if you buy Genuine like I did once. About £100 from memory. I can see why someone unscrupulous, with a faulty one, would be after another. Perhaps someone who's had an MOT advisory / failure on one could be on the prowl...? I have Blink camera's, they do the job, so would describe them as OK and good for keeping an eye on things. But if you have multiple Blink camera's you can only 'live monitor' one camera at a time. A delivery driver who came to our house was showing me his system, he had about 8 cameras all updating in real-time on his phone screen. His system probably cost a fortune and comes with a hefty subscription, but impressive nonetheless. Don't know what camera system he had, perhaps someone on here will know what system has that capability? If you can get them to work - I have a full professional CCTV system installed but wanted an extra covert(ish) camera, so I bought a Blink Camera - Curry's where I bought it from (a mistake indeed) and Blink Support were about as much use as a chocolate iron. So much for plug & play. |

Most "professional" systems have this capacity. With this sort of kit you generally get what you pay for. |

I can tell you what not to buy (in this case you don’t get what you pay for).

Get a Dahua system with the iDMSS free App. Choose from 4/8/12/16 cameras etc.

Those aren’t wifi cameras, they are hard wired. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that? |
