Knocking rear headlining

I have an intermittent knocking noise/rattle that appears to be coming from behind me and from in the headlining. I originally thought the rear RHS grab handle was slapping against the housing, but removal says it's not that. It sounds like a cable is loose and slapping the headlines. It's not permanent, it comes and goes as the offending article clearly lodges then releases again.

Any thoughts or known issues in the area before I put it to the dealer again

Thanks

All the wiring above the head lining is either glued to the headlining or fixed in place with fir tree clips, the harness is wrapped in a fleece tape. There are magnetic strips that hold the headlining in place, so no clips to work loose as such. Have you tried it with the pan roof blind in different positions? It could be the B or C pillar trims reacting to different temperatures or one of their clips not fitted correctly. If you take it in, get photos of the headlining, blind & internal pillar trims prior to any work...

Or, god forbid, the pan roof drain has rusted off and is slapping about, is the headlining above the rear door damp in wet weather...??
