Hi. Just discovered this forum. Nice to meet you. Just upgraded to a 2019 AB 5.0sc so will probably be asking for advice. The first thing being taking off the 22” wheels and putting 20s on with a decent sidewall.

Hello everyone!
I'm not yet a RR owner but i have spent the last 6 months researching LR3, LR4, L322 and L405 models obsessively 😅. So much so i bought a GAP tool months ago to read out every vehicle i test drove to learn how it works before getting my own. I come from the world of owning half a dozen Alfa Romeo's and despite what the internet says, my ownership experience has been lovely. So I'm on the search for my perfect spec L322 and if one comes up, ill buy it.

In the meantime, I'll indulge myself in the information and experiences of others as i love all 5 Generations of Ranger from Classic to L460 even though some years standout more than others, they are in my eyes all cool.

It is great to see so many new members joining the forum. I have found it a great source of information over the past year and I have bought a couple of parts. I hope new members get the same benefits.
Welcome to everyone.

Hi All,

Having been interested in Landrover defenders for quite some time, I am now thinking of getting myself a Rangie. Probably an L322.

I look forward to learning as much as I can from this awesome forum and then hope to be able to contribute myself for the benefit of others.

Daz

Evening
Just left 8 years of MB ownership, my last one being a SL 350.

Needed a car that my wife could get of out easily. Quiet and easy to drive on long trips is a requirement. Plus more space for my dog, carry my bike and holiday stuff 😂

Had to be petrol for the ULEZ so I went for a L322 4.2 Supercharged model.

Hi all,

Rob and Erica here,

After 2 D3's, 1 sold, 1 engine wrecked, now a FFRR. Sadly i had to say goodbye to my beloved D3, too much pain to replace the engine.

So, moving on. A range rover. Got to say, the drive is somewhat better than j was used to, to say the least😎
Now time to get all the little things in order, get the rooftent up and start driving.

Hope not to post too many topics btw😎😎

I've been a lurker on this site for around 3-4 years I think and a long time admirer of a FFRR.

I have zero need for a Range Rover but decided I am going to bite the bullet and get one as an additional car.

My plan is to get an older 4.2 Supercharged as they seem the most reliable. If I get hooked, then all being well, I will upgrade to a L405 5.0.

I only do 8k miles a year, spread over 2 cars currently, so petrol is the obvious choice.

My other cars include a BMW 535i Touring, Mercedes SLK55 AMG and a VW Golf 1.4 TSI (Wife's).

The Range Rover will be an additional car for now but could replace the BMW if it all works out. I really like the BMW and it was hard to find a petrol version, so I'm very relucant to sell it.
