My L322 does that sometimes. I think it might be as the car is “asleep” on the first press and maybe systems need to come on a bit. Second press is always good….

Thanks for that. It sounds very logical, I don't recall my l322 doing this but the FBH isn't reliable on mine. I'm just pleased that it does fire up eventually on the L405. |

I think it might be a low battery in your FBH remote fob. Perhaps worth changing this to see if that behaviour stops. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso |

I think it is normal. if it doesn't connect when you first push the button. It is also to give you feedback that the car received the command.

Thanks for the replies - I did consider the low battery option but as the FBH still works every time, I can live with having to press the button twice.

Mine flashes quickly on the first press, the fbh then starts up about a minute later ( roughly, I haven’t timed it) and works fine. Perhaps give it more of a chance before pressing again, and see if yours does the same |
