Battery voltage question

Had the FBH fail again this morning, checked with the Gap and got the following fault :
HVAC-Ventilation

B12A6-15 (2F) Auxiliary heater water pump - General electrical failure - circuit short to battery or open

Also checking live values it said Voltage battery current flickering between 2.0 and 3.0, estimate charge 52 % and battery voltage 13.9. Just wondering if they values point to anything I should be looking at or are the normal for the 3.6, battery is about 3 years old and the Bosch AGM.

Battery voltage normally around 12.7 without engine running.

With the engine running it should be around 14.4 to 14.7.

I had an issue a while ago when my battery flattened and while investing this I found my alternator was only putting out around 13.7 at tickover under load (i.e heated seats on and a few other things). I did a system reset by disconnecting the battery and now putting out 14.4 or greater all the time.

Thanks for the info Rog21 that’s an interesting read, funnily enough the FBH has started to work again and has been great the last couple of cold mornings.
