Hi all, I guess this is a hot topic these days.

I'm looking to upgrade the connectivity on my 2014 AB. I saw Harry Metcalf talk about a "plug and play" device he fitted into his Project 8, basically the same head unit I beleive.

Have any of you bought one of these types of devices and what's your opinion, as good as they say ?... or hugely compramised ?

Just as an independent review....

They are costly but work seamlessly. I have had mine for over a year or so and wouldn't be without one in any LR now.

I was sold on the idea and maybe still am but did you suffer audio interferance when playing music from your phoner library or streaming ? This seems to have been an issue, that would put me off

I should qualify mine is in my Disco 4 but I have been in a friends FF with the same system...

I or he have never had any interference or any kind of malfunction.... once you have hardwired (first connection only) it connects perfectly and wirelessly every time.

I tried a cheaper dongle style and the lag with controls and importantly the maps (google, apple, waze etc) was terrible and made them pointless as you had already passed the turning you were being directed to!

We have an EV with apple car play as a family run around and this operates exactly the same....(and better than the Jaguar Ipace's on board system!).
