Hi Phoenix,I got pipe from scrappiest which was to big,I ended up getting one from the stealers,I changed it,I plugged in gap iid,the refrigerant pressure is showing 5 bar,I have ordered refil,what should the bar pressure be,thanks pat

It's not the pressure, which is temperature dependent, it's the charge weight - shown on the slam panel or the bonnet label, I forget which. How did you evacuate the system prior to changing the pipe?

ETA - if that was 5Bar with the aircon not running, that equates to roughly 22Deg C. With it running at the same temperature, you should see ~11Bar. If the ambient temperature is out on that calculation (likely, if it was today!) then you need to recover, vac., and recharge the correct weight of refrigerant

Right, then can I suggest that you get it booked in to somewhere that does an aircon degas / regas so they can suck out whatever remains in your system, vac. it out to remove any traces of oxygen (and leak check it) then charges with the correct amount of refrigerant?
Just topping up as-is will leave non-condensable gases (air & water vapour) in your system which will cause problems, not least, corrosion.
