What supply voltage are you getting at the MAP sensor? - measure at the sensor wiring across the +ve & -ve, should be in the range of 4.75 - 5.25VDC |

Is this a 3.6 or a 4.4 TDV8? |

Assuming no intake leaks, blocked air filters, charge air leaks etc. I'd be looking for delaminating hoses creating a restriction on deceleration. As always, a smoke test would be the preferred first step but obviously not everyone can do that.

No obvious leaks and I’ve replaced the filters (hoping this was the reason) but not thought about delam pipes!

They usually occur on bends rather than straight-ish sections, look for discolouration on the outside where oil is penetrating and feel for any weaker areas when poked and prodded, an endoscope is invaluable for looking inside for bubbles and tears and can be found quite cheaply on fleabay to connect to your phone or PC. - it will be something simple that's causing it, finding it is the hard part, good luck! |

take it down to Steve at T and S Norman in Shepton mallet. What he don't know about the L322 doesn't need knowing. He fixed my RP prob by engineering nouse, after all the LR dealers and specialists failed. pm me for details if you can't find them on t'internet |
