Try carefully touching each rear wheel, just in case the brake calipers are sticking.

Mike, both rear wheels are certainly colder than the fronts. |

It’s certainly coming from under the bonnet area. |

Mine had a tiny leak from the top hose to thermostat housing which led to a very sweet hot smell. No smell since I changed the hose. |

Well after completing the same climb back up to our accommodation this evening I decided to use the flappy paddles to keep the revs down slightly. It seems that the RR likes to hold onto 3rd a little longer than I think it ought too. The result was a much less smelly engine once back at our accommodation. Figure that out… |
