I’m in the same boat on the 992. Been offered a June build slot but have then been told the 992.2 is due next year… |

"Funny you should say that - I’ve just sold our Taycan Cross Tourismo this morning, which is being picked up next Friday and now looking at the new shape X5 PHEV."

I'm actually off to order a new Porsche 992 tomorrow morning. I've been told that I can have a Carrera 4 GTS Convertible quickest, as soon as late this year / early next. However, I don't like the black element styling and firmer ride of the 4 GTS, so I'm going to wait for a 992 Carrera 4S Cabriolet. I've been told I can pay a deposit for the latter, but Porsche are not building them at the moment. I was told I'd be very lucky to see a Carrera 4S this year, and more likely, it'll be a Generation 2 model delivered in 12-18 months! |

No worries, it’s an honest appraisal after 2 fully electric cars now - we won’t be having another for a good few years yet - the real world range, charging structure and manufacture range promises are way out ! Ignore the electric Taycan/Tesla fan boys they are a strange bunch and their cars are the best* to them 😂😂
