It's the first time we've placed an order for a car we haven't tested, but I'm not too anxious about that. I expect the press reviews will rank the L460 as probably the best car in the world - the most (or one of the most) versatile, iconic, capable and comfortable vehicle there is.

But probably a bit unusual to jump from a 07 L322 TDV8 to a 23 L460 P510e AB like we do? Financially its definitely not a wise decision to spend > £190' on a new L460. Of course we rather should have upgraded to a 2017+ L405 in stead. But finding a pre-owned L405 according to our requirements (clear glass ++) have turned out to be a challenge in our relatively small domestic market. However using the hard earned savings to take this leap is a bit odd, I must admit. In fact it's more of a YOLO decision based on years of happy driving the L322 !

Anyone else taking a similar leap - from the L322 to the new L460 without owning the L405?

Not from the L322,for me it’s from new defender. Order placed in Feb.
