£11 for a 12v to 5v is a bit expensive but it saves getting separate bits ..

used to be about £1600 apparently, but over the last 6 months the prices of shipping from China has gone through the roof. Saw it on the BBC the other day.

Excellent looking to do this mod when I pick up my new toy next week.... just to confirm you used this tap in loom on a 2018MY as Powerful say these haven't been tested on anything after 2017. Ta. |

Thanks Gremlin, I'll be fitting my 2019MY AB with a Blackvue which uses 12v so I'll be ordering the basic one.

I'd do some research on the Bloackvue. I had one on my 2018 car and I kept getting a Low Battery warning, even set at it's lowest setting.

I'll be using a newer X model without a Powermagic box, looks like you can set battery protection to 11.8V, 12V, and 12.5V. I plan to start at 12.5V

The LR is very good though and simple to use. I had problems with the Blackvue and found it not so user friendly All LR cars from 1984
