Exactly the same symptoms as I had. After spending hours dismantling both front and rear bumpers to check the sensors, which were all fine, I bought a used module for £99 and fitted it in about 2 minutes flat. No more problems. Bish.

Can't work out what is the right part for this. Seems it's a common component on JLR and Fords. I suspect the key code is '15k866' but can't be 100% sure and there are no items I can find with the exact codes I have. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

Thanks. I'm pretty sure it's the ECU as when I pulled it apart there was some green Verdigris on the bottom of the board so some water must have got in there at some point. Also I'm assuming as the switch light doesn't even illuminate that it's not a sensor or sensor wiring problem. Really need to get this fixed so may have to pony up £200 for a new ECU as there are none with that part number on Ebay. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

2 used a brand new module later and the switch now at least flashes. Too dark to do any more investigating but next job is sensors and wiring..... 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |
