Yes I feel your pain, I was there myself earlier in the year. An air chisel with a pointed tip also works if you have one, the number of impacts per minute/second is unmatched and felt far kinda to the caliper body than hammer and punch blows

A common problem, I always take the pads out, clean it all up and regrease the pins during routine servicing, keeps them free... |

This is the grease I use. This is the grease you’re supposed to use on an alloy calliper.
