They look as though it's just an electrical connector, three bolts at the top and one at the bottom and Bob's your uncle. Are they really that easy to do?

Yes, It is that easy, just make sure you support the lower arm when you remove the bottom bolt, and it is easier if you depressurise the air bag first.
Mine were “damp” for literally years before one started to actually leak.

I have also read on here that it's extremely common on these vehicles to have that and if it's just a light misting then they shouldn't need changing it's just when it's more than a misting they are bad. Current 2007 TDV8 Vogue Buckingham Blue

did mine recently that easy and i did not have to depressurize the air bag just had another trolley jack to lift into place. less than 30 mins job done on my drive. 2012 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - Current
