Rear DRL MY21.5

Hi, I collected my RR on Thursday and just realised the rear DRL lights are not on when the car is running. Is this correct, no rear DRL? Car is fitted with Pixel LED headlights. I thought there was an issue with the auto lights as I was getting the message “Select Auto Driving Beam” but when I’ve selected what I believe to be that I have no indication that the lights are on. Dash board has no light symbol. Pics of the message and dash and a couple from the collection. Thanks.

I think whether you have rear DRL's enabled depends on the market your FF was sold into. UK only requires fronts but some other countries have both.

It's easy to change with IID tool but not sure if that still works with newer ones as there are limitations on functionality from MY17 onwards. 2021 D350 Fifty Edition

as said mine come on with the fronts but i was curious to know if I could switch them off so I looked at the ccf with my iidtool (beta unspecified menu) and couldn't find any ref to them.
i recall seeing a Scandinavian setting but that will only work with the lights. ... - .- -.

Thanks. I’ve sent a message into the dealer. The car had a cracked windscreen upon collection so waiting for them to get it a replacement into stock, hopefully they can do both in one go 👍

The Auto headlights setting on the stalk on my 21.5 car flicks back after being selected. Up to this edition it stayed in the Auto headlight position when selected. There won't be any indication they are selected until they actually come on in dark conditions, when you will have the white light icon displayed at the right bottom of the dash with "Auto" underneath.

My rear DRL's come on when I'm driving as do all latest LR cars I believe. All LR cars from 1984

It amazes me how poor the PDI can be with some dealers. I picked up a new 992 last year and as I walked up to the car there were 3 large scratches on the front wing plain as day, I just don't know how dealers selling cars at this level can get away with that sort of sloppiness.

Re: Rear DRL MY21.5

The dealer technician has confirmed there is no fault and the rear DRL do not activate. I tried the full fat demo and this also does not activate the rears. Strange 🤔

Then might I suggest you go back and tell the dealer tech he is wrong! The rear DRL's SHOULD be working!

Hi Craig, I’ve spoken to service again who said they’ve asked service leader who backs up technicians and said only fronts. I’ve sent screen grabs of this to the salesman, hopefully he can advise. Thanks
