United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Siberian Silver
Heater fan

Hi
2013 Range Rover Vogue SE with 3 zone climate control. When the climate/heating is running, the fan /air noise is very loud. Is this normal? My wife's Freelander 2 hardly makes any noise at all when the climate/heating is running.
Also it has the cooled/heated seats. When you turn on the heated seats, only the back gets warm. Do the seat bases have heating elements like the back of the seats?
Finally, I can't select just the seat base on the seat zone, only the back or the entire seat. Is this normal?

TIA

Hi Ivan,

To help answer your queries:

- Climate control will vary fan speed to reduce/increase temperature. Suggest you turn on auto and check when cabin temp has equalised. If you run the climate with the fan controls is it still loud at low speed, if so you may have a fan on its way out?
- Heated seats include the seat base also, you may have a loose or broken connection under the seat
- As far as I understand the seat heating is the whole seat, you cant select which part (mind you I have been without my L405 for a couple of years now)
