I paid £642 for a B service on mine back in January. I’m mid way between 2 dealers so called them both, one was over £700 but can’t remember the exact figure. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

From memory the 80k/5yr service is a biggie so £750 was about what I paid from MD last year. Includes transfer box, dynamic response and rear diff fluid changes (although its supposed to only be if its a active locking one but its priced regardless).

Had the same service last year on our 2015 and it was a big one - in fact the last two had had additional items

Having just checked the LR website, the advertised price of the B service is £690 so am baffled why I was quoted £750?

The LR recommended prices aren’t always adhered to by the dealers.......

As we know, B service follows an A service again, then its an A service etc, the sequence continues, a B is almost the same as an A service + pollen filter/air filter & fuel filter. Unless you meet the extra requirements at a C service etc etc depends on your MY and engine etc I guess

It’s only covered by the LR/dealer 12 month extended warranty so am I free to shop around? |

Technically yes, so long as the garage follows the service schedule, And uses genuine parts and recommended grades of oils.

Was that local to me in Saltash? If so, would you be kind enough to put the link in to the website? |

The words Wiggle room worry me somewhat in respect of any claim. Saving a few £££ on service costs may come to bite me in the bum in the event I need the warranty? Also Roger Young have been superb so far with a few minor issues I’ve had. They did a DPF regen a couple of weeks ago for me at no cost, which surprised me as I wasn’t certain this would be covered under any warranty as it’s a consequence of short journeys due to lockdown. |
