Had my air con re-gassed today and was told that the pulley belt isn't turning the air con pump but the belt is still in place?

When I got my TD6 the pulley had siezed. I could not get it out so it went to my mechanic and in the end he took the compressor off |

Easy job. DIY! They use a sprung loaded shock the thing to keep constant pressure and tension in the belt. |

Check the tensioner (number 2 below) is working properly as they are a common fault

if the tensioner is seized then the belt wont be turning right?

You can access from underneath by removing the front guard first. |

What Richcl said. I took the fan and cowel off as well just to have extra room and to allow the belt to go on easy without feeding it over the fan. |

You must have a leak in the system Joe90, most probable culprit is the condenser |
