2003 4.4 v8 error

Hi all

So as some of you may have read I've been pretty busy with the car doing service, rocker cover gaskets and the alternator. The spark plug wells had a bit of oil in each spark plug hence why ive done the rocker cover. Car was all put back together however it struggled to start so called the aa to jump start it only to find its misfiring. Aa come back and said its come up with codes

P0204 & P0304 being injector faults

He suggested to double check the injector wire to make sure it's definitely connected first as that could be the issue and said if not then it's either going to need a new injector or new wiring loom

Anyone had this issue in the past and able too advise on any other ideas

Cheers all

That's a misfire and a wiring fault on cylinder 4... you probably dislodged the connector or damaged the loom during dismantling and assembly... Thumbs Up Pete

Cheers haylands. Guessing it's a job of inspecting the wiring, connection and fixing as required. Hoping it's something simple like I forgot to plug the connector back in

Well Al is going to award himself prat of 2021 trophy too himself. Had a quick look at the wiring, coils etc. Start looking at number 4 Injector and guess what injector is currently facing the wrong way to the engine fire wall :whistle Whistle .... Yep that would explain the rough idle, wiring faults and the struggle too start.... Taken it for a bit of a drive and it feels lovely and smooth so order restored.... Now time too sort the bike
