Hi!

I'm having issues with my speakers and wondered if anybody had experienced similar.

Originally just the right hand speakers had stopped working, and after cleaning all the connectors in the boot they came back. I thought I'd resolved the issue but then I noticed the right hand side cuts out after a few minutes.

I've cleaned the connectors with electrical contact cleaner and put it all back together

Situation is as follows:

Get in, speakers all work, car seems great, I love it.

Few minutes later I'm left with just the left hand side.

After about 10 minutes of driving the remaining channels will cut out.

If the speakers have cut out, I can turn the stereo on and off and the left hand side will work again.

If I leave the car for about half an hour, the speakers will all work again for a short time.


I'm tempted to bit the bullet and buy a second hand DSP amp, but it seems an expensive gamble.

Anybody got any ideas?

You need to also check the BM54 as that is actually the amp. The DSP is an active crossover.
