Worth remembering that the LCM stores a copy of the Mileage data - if you swap to an LCM from a different car you will get a "tamper" warning on the dash.

@ Mattstevenson: pre 05 models DO have the auto lights as my 2002 HSE has it (just found out by accident!) as well as rain sensitive wipers. Also have a few Vogue features (rearheated seats) but no stanav. |

Are you sure? do you have 4 positions on the light switch e.g off, side lights, dim beam, auto lights. And do they work. If so someone has upgraded you car with auto lights as they were NOT available before the 05 upgrade. Even the top of the range 02 vogue spec did not come with auto lights nor was it a factory option, so a previous owner must have replaced the light switch, sensor and lcm ecu to the post 05 versions. All l322 range rovers have the rain sensitive wipers. Matt |

You can also enable the headlight delay manually via:- Get in the car, lock the doors, then hold the LR button on the keyfob whilst holding the headlights on flash. Then , after a few seconds, the words 'headlight delay' will appear on the LCD display at which point release the headlight stalk. The delay is now enabled, but is manual in that once you've removed the key, you have to 'flash' the headlights via the stalk to trigger them. One thing I haven't tried is putting the lights on the auto setting (I never use it) to see if this makes any difference (i.e. might put them on for you when engine is turned off, I'll have to try it).
