Took the FF to Screwfix earlier with a stop off at the camping shop. A round trip of 28 miles.

Andy, dont let it get up to temperature before moving off, it's the worst you can do, drive it straight away, dont give it the right foot until it's warmed up though.

To be honest, the only reason it was idling so long before moving off was I was trying to remember how to change the country on the satnav....... the last previous journey, on 13th March began in the middle of France! I also had to switch the clock to BST.

I was also glad to get moving again in the Range Rover after a couple of months in the wife's car- well not actually - as I don't do the supermarket trips. Geoff |

The engine does indeed sound amazing and the performance for such a big car also.

Mine's still sitting in the driveway on SORN, has been since March and could well be there until next year if work situation turns out as I'm being told, no need to go to office until at least then.
