Odd little rocker switch....?

Hi All, Hope you are all doing well.
While giving my car a bloody good clean, I came by a little rocker switch under the base of the dash in line with the steering column near the brake pedal..... when I rubbed it cleaning, it flashed a few things up on the dash, and my electric steering column moved! The keys were out of the ignition. Any ideas what that is? Can't see anything in my owners manual for it?

I've not waggled it again for fear of resetting/upsetting my car!
Doesn't seem to have done anything yet as I had to drive it to work today.

Si.

AFAIK they were fitted to make it easier to move cars around at the dealers pre-delivery & are normally disconnected before customer handover. 2003 Range Rover Vogue TD6

It puts the car into transport mode, for use when it’s being built.

Do a search on here for transport mode or transport switch.

Quite a few have posted the same question as you.

That said, I though it got deactivated as part of the pre delivery inspection at the dealers....might be wrong....

Hi all, many thanks for the replies. -even the sarky ones! I generally use the search function but had a bit of a brain fart on this one so my apologies. Lesson learned.

I always check there before asking questions but it's a bit of a mish-mash & difficult to find what you are looking for. 2003 Range Rover Vogue TD6
