Pre-wheel alignment, what do I WD40 to avoid probs on ramp

Hi team,

I've read a few peeps have had issues getting wheel alignments done due to rusted up bolts/threads.

Could anyone give me a crib list to WD40 before I head to the ramp so I can avoid problems?

Cheers, Cheers, Greg

Have you read the 4 wheel alignment PDF in the suspension section of the W M Greg ?
It shows adjustable points, which seems a good starting point.

Wouldn't bother with wd40, you need a good quality release oil such as Plusgas, and lots of it.
I would dose everything every day for a week but the chances are a gas torch will still be needed.

For the rear (now I've read the manual Rolling Eyes )

It seems there are two adjusters.

Is the lower one in this pic the one you're talking about Rob?

Paul at Advanced Factors sorted it all for me when I left it at Hutfields in Botley for the alignment.
