Just a further thought, is it worth keeping the car and making the journey to Mikey’s a couple of times a year. You know it will be done properly with no guessing diagnostics. That alone may make for a more reliable car, for the sake of annual service and MOTs,........? |

Whereas a colleague with an Audi, at around 18 months old, had a nightmare getting a mere replacement battery. They refused to even test the battery as we’d had a tracker fitted and automatically blamed that; it was up to us to provide them with the evidence that the battery was dead before they’d consider even inspecting it.
