Does anyone know if the oil blockage problem on the secondary turbo for the 4.4 TDV8 on the L322 was rectified on the later L405, or of that continues to be a problem?

At some time in MY14 production a twin drain was fitted. Its not quite the same pipework as the retro-fit item in that it's connection at the block is different.

Was the TDV8 ever fitted in the L405? It hasn’t been for the last 3 years for sure.

Sorry, meant SDV8. There are still some new/nearly new ones out there. Just want to see if they got the problems sorted

I don’t know if this helps, but my own Sept 2017 build SDV8 needed to have a modified sub wiring loom (running from an internal oil sensor to the main wiring loom) fitted, after it caused an oil leak that damaged the electricals associated with the primary turbocharger.

That was at 30,000 miles and it’s been fine since, currently showing a gnat’s testicle short of 71,000 miles Thumbs Up
