I had to do this on the 5.0 SC a few weeks back and in the end used a Coil Spring Compressor between the 2 spanners and wound them down. |

I always use a "heel bar" , pointed end on the nut and a good whack with a 4lb hammer , keep the bar as vertical as you can and 3/4 the way across the nut (to the right hand side when looking down at it standing in front of the vehicle), will give you a better turning moment of torque, normally shocks them off with no problem , remember its a left hand thread ! |

4.2 is all dancing and singing electric controlled you will have a connector that goes into the rhs of the rad pack cowling as you stand in front of the car looking back. |

I thought that it would be couple of taps & come undone when I did mine I even had the correct spanners, but ended up making my own to get more leveridge, |
