Hi all, I've had my 4.2sc now almost 3 months now and it puts a smile on my face every time I start the engine, I'm just wondering what the strange noise I can hear coming from behind the dash, is it something todo with the computer/electronic system or is it something else, I have no issues anywhere and everything works as it should. Cheers.

Depends when it does it

When I'm stationary with no radio on you can hear it, its only a faint noise but it's there!

now i could be wrong but i remember reading some where that there is a little electronic cooler back there for all the electronics?

It dose sound like some kind of fan which could be for cooling as you say, hopefully nothing to worry about cheers

Isn't there a small fan that pulls in air over the cabin temperature sensor behind the little grill by the temp controls?
