I wonder what that costs.

I am also partially against opening roofs after some scrotum climbed on my L320 roof and jimmied the roof glass out of its place (it was closed, locked), then climbed inside the vehicle only to realise it was double locked and all hell was breaking lose with no horizontal escape, so leapt back out the way he came into the night. A £2200 insurance claim that was. Didn’t even steal my 10 year old iPod. They also left a dirty footprint on my Arabica, and no insurance claim can erase that image in my mind.

Same size hole for both opening & fixed pano roof... They come as a cassette and you drop one or the other in Thumbs Up

Done a couple now for customers who want them opening instead of fixed... All bought second hand from dismantlers Thumbs Up

I stand corrected Thumbs Up

As a matter of curiosity, the see trough part of opening sunroof is 840 x 1120mm (ignoring the cross member for a minute) - please could someone confirm what it is with the fixed roof?

Was that your Sextant at the Chequered Flag cafe lost and found?

Have to agree with all the “Yay to sunroofs”......we always try to get one and when we do it’s open as much as possible, otherwise what’s the heater for?

We were really surprised and annoyed by a lot of the LR range having just pano roofs and not opening......what’s with that? Rolling Eyes

Ah thanks, I was looking for that! Wink

Totally agree with the heater comment Laughing

I wouldn’t buy a vehicle without an opening sun roof - there was a time when they came as std spec on the Vogue upwards. I don’t see the point in having a glass roof and it not opening - May as well not bother at all. 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

We have our roof open as much as possible. Dont get much buffering.
However with it closed at 150mph on the autobahn it whistles so loud you have to slow down!
