United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Barolo Black
which brakes do I have ?

Hi all,

My new to me 2011 L322 4.4TDV8 is going to need new discs soonish.

Ive had a quick look on Island 4x4's web site (its where I get parts from for my other landrovers) and they list my model and the 5.0 S/C as having the same front discs.

Other websites say the 5.0 discs are not compatible so im a little confused !

I believe my car has, with a cursory glance, 6 pot landrover branded callipers, but not Brembos.

Im working abroad at the mo and the car is parked up at heathrow so I can't get to it for a couple of weeks

so I guess my questions are

Do I have the same brake discs as a 5.0 S/C ?
Are the callipers landrover versions of Brembos? and do they take the same pads as the 5.0 S/C ?

Sorry if its a dumb question(s) If it was a 300tdi disco or a P38 I would be fine !!!

Thanks in advance

Andy

Hi Andy,

They are 6 pot Brembo -- if it helps I ordered from Island for my 2011 TDV8 and all fitted fine -- I must admit I went for cheap discs, but EBC pads and the fitting kit just in case.

Get a fitting kit too as the pins have a habit of siezing into the caliper, especially if they've not been replaced.

Hi,

I've got the 2012 4.4 TDV8 and just did the front and rear discs + pads.

It is as confusing as hell as most sites here seem to ignore the later L322's exist. I think its from Brembo setup and rear is Teves.

Fronts discs LR031845 (380MM)
Front pads LR093886
Rear discs LR031846
Rear Pads LR025739

Front pads can be horrendous price but on eBay and other places they are more reasonable. The front pad size is 189 x 95.6 x 16.5 deep.

I got my discs from lrdirect.co.uk

Hope that helps.
